Lessons in imperfection for MaryBeth

Hi all

sitting in front of Mom's computer in So. Calif. with romeo on my lap, looking for an imperfect photo on the desktop todrage in here. (I think I'll leave those two mistakes :-)
Did it! See above! (That means it went into the wrong space, which is pretty good imperfection.)

Loved the ideas today!!

And the (re?) discoveries: MBN is a shopaholic who wants to figure out how to earn a living (as a shopaholic).

She has the usual shopaholic problems:

Never sees something beautiful she doesn't want to own, has credit card and space problems, feels shame.

and the more uncommon shopaholic gifts: a love for beautiful objects that allows her to see and appreciate them to an unusual extent

with the usual economic disadvantages:

Even someone with a billion dollars who owns a huge museum will run out of space and money sooner or later, and anyway, won't be able to visit the beautiful things she bought because there isn't enough time to see them all.

and the often unrealized advantages:

She can pop into any small town Chamber of Commerce and volunteer to help the merchants who are looking to create an international presence by photographing their work (with *love* -- the best eye of all) and getting it up on their own blog...

thereby getting to know the field...what's really required, etc.

and getting to show off her talents in front of the right people until it becomes an income source (they hire her or she becomes a consultant for them and others like them)
